Always improving
Parish OS keeps getting better, every week.
A parish keeps growing, and so does the software that serves it. Here is what we have recently improved, in plain words.
Certificate checks always show the latest answer
When a certificate is replaced or withdrawn, the public check page now reflects it straight away, so a replaced certificate is always shown accurately.
Faster parishioner screens, stronger data protection
Parishioner pages respond faster when moving between tabs, and database access was tightened further so records are reachable only by the app itself.
Certificates with signatures, and parish notifications
Prepare sacrament certificates for the pastor's signature, and send parish notices and class notices that reach families on their phones.
Passkey sign-in and safer passwords
Staff can sign in with a passkey instead of a password, and password handling follows a stricter life cycle.
Catechism teacher requests and substitutes
Teachers can raise requests, and a substitute can be arranged for a class session while keeping the attendance record intact.
Catechism year-end promotion
Move a whole class up at the end of the year, with outcomes recorded for each child, instead of re-entering names.
Mass intention categories
Group Mass intentions by category so the Mass book is easier to read and plan.
Liturgical calendar
A parish calendar that follows the liturgical year, so feast days and seasons are always right.
Requests and announcements
Families can send requests to the parish and see announcements, all in one place.
